"By the Way of the warrior is meant death. The Way of the warrior is death. This means choosing death whenever there is a choice between life and death. It means nothing more than this. It means to see things through, being resolved."
— Yamamoto Tsunetomo

Warriors are not born and they are not made…Warriors create themselves through trial and error, pain and suffering, and their ability to conquer their own faults.

History of a man...

xxxxxProspect, CA: Beckett's mother, was from Prospect. His father too, though he never met the man. Stands to reasons if he has family, this might be the place.

xxxxxDaughter: To live in this World of Darkness, you must be able to do three things: love and protect your family; hold them against you knowing their lives depends on you; and, when the time comes to let go, to let them go. He's still working on the last part.

xxxxxEducation: Beckett is a trained academic, with a specialty in the existence of psychic phenomenon among varied cultures.

xxxxxJapan: Beckett has spent the past twenty-nine years of his life living in Japan.

xxxxxBushido: When one adopts the Way of Life, it means that they make a promise that they will stay loyal to their master, uphold self discipline, and conduct themselves morally. These dark modern days are forever corrupting. The path is treacherous and foreboding.

xxxxxPsychic Phenomenon: The Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu is a sacred place. Beckett witnessed the impossible there. Feats beyond comprehension. He was told that the mind was the most potent tool that man possessed. Through the use of it a man could do unexplainable things. His Mind's eye has opened to the impossible.

1. ST: I enjoy running a scene now and then. My ideal setting is 2 -3 Mortal / Mortal+ characters that enjoy roleplay that involves dark horror, action and emotionally charged situations. One hitters are fine, as are longer enduring plots. Shocker! I like to play too, and I appreciate when a scene or a plot is ran for me.

I choose Mortal and Mortal+ because I don’t know all the rules in Vampire or Werewolf/Shifter. I know some. I don’t ST any of the following:

  • Changeling
  • Demon
  • Mage
  • Wraith
  • Bygones

That doesn't eliminate you from participation, just understand the story will very likely be underpowered for you. Please consider all the Mortal characters attempting to be the hero when you use your celerity 6 to decimate all the NPCs.

2. OOC Drama: I want none of it. Period. That’s what +pageblock <name> is for.

3. Multi MU*: It’s completely fine if you can manage it. If you can’t: don’t do it. Step out of the scene or something. I dislike putting effort into a story and getting one to two lines in return. The same thing goes for continuously long idle times between poses. RL happens. That I understand. However note the word: CONTINUOUSLY. I will pose around you and move forward. It’s unlikely there will be future RP if that's how you roll.

4. Rating: Rated A for adults only – Graphic depictions of violence are appreciated. This is World of Darkness, not My little Pony.

5. Logs: I like keeping a record of really good scenes, or anything that further develops the personality or story of my PC. I’ll ask first if it’s okay. If I run the scene: Expect a log.
