"- I think the whole world's gone mad.
- Uh-Uh. It's always been like this.
You probably just don't get out enough."

~Sexton and Death, in Death: The High Cost of Living.

"I must confess, I have always wondered what lay beyond life, my dear."
"Yeah, everybody wonders. And sooner or later everybody
gets to find out."

~Norton I and Death: "Three Septembers and a January"

Feathers, Scales and Furs

  • Gavin: My birdy. My savior. My light in the darkness. Sometimes when you are gone I think I will fade away.

Mortal Coil

  • Cross: Old man. Kind old Man. Grandfather, if I touched you the world would pour in and burst through my skin like a squeezed ripe tomato.

Eyes Wide Shut

  • Jack: Everyone has something mystical inside them. You can see it when you look in their eyes. You have beautiful eyes, Jack.

Burning Both Ends

  • Alexander: Have you made your project? I thought you were going to come back?
  • Gar: I can not wait to hear the drums you make?
  • Josephine: You are broken too, but you have mended yourself. There is no mending what I have lost. But you are an inspiration. Did you figure it out yet? Are you sure it is not just madness?
  • Cia: You too? A pale little shadow. I thought I was alone in this half-place.

The Lingering

  • Mortimer P Wormeister: My Besty. My Buddy. Together forever.
  • Leila: Morty likes you, so you must be good. But I worry you might take him away from this insanity.

  • Fletcher: You know things, some things, but not others. But that's okay. We'll teach you in time. I think. You seem to want to learn. But you must learn to be a little warmer.

  • Runs an Occult Bookstore and Shop
The Lost Art, a store for all things occult. It touches on all cultures possible to gather things on, and all beliefs. The store is sorted by Culture, World Location and Religion.
It includes everything from African Shamanism, Christianity, Eastern Religions to Metaphysics, Alchemy and Numerology.
Of course there is a section for high-school girls with the desire to divine their next school crush with the use of a tarot deck, but it's in the front and no where near the rest of the place.

  • Pitiable

Adam in Chains - Billy Idle
Morty's Song

They've broken your heart
Ah yeah, they're gonna tear your world apart
Why make up a lie
And believe it's true
Ah, tear it all apart
I know the shape of things to come
Why this now girl
Will we murder each other
Like Adam in chains
I want revenge

Burn - The Cure
Zillah's Song

"Don't look don't look" the shadows breathe
Whispering me away from you
"Don't wake at night to watch her sleep
You know that you will always lose
This trembling; Adored
Tousled bird mad girl... "
But every night I burn
But every night I call your name
Every night I burn
Every night I fall again

Winterleep - Weighty Ghost
Zillah's Song

Where or where'd my body go
Africa or Mexico?
Oh where'd my body go
And where'd my body go?

Oh have you seen my ghost?
Seen my ghost, seen my ghost
Oh have you seen my ghost
Starring at the ground?

Oh have you seen my ghost?
Seen my ghost, seen my ghost
Oh have you seen my ghost?
Sick of those goddamn clouds

Are you some kind of medicine man?
Cut the demons out of my head
You can’t kill something that’s already dead
Just leave my soul alone

I don’t need no surgery
Take those knives away from me
Just wanna die in my own body
A ghost just needs a home

Broken Wings - Mr. Mister
Corax Song

So take these broken wings
And learn to fly again, learn to live so free
And when we hear the voices sing
The book of love will open up and let us in
